This body of works are the outcomes of explorations of process. Using natural clay from the creek on our property, mixing them with store bought clays and making vessels that will have weaving added to them once fired. The raffia used in the weaving is sustainably sourced from Madagascar and some of it dyed with natural pigments (various leaves and ochres). Other weaving materials include lomandra grass, lawyer cane, various types of leaves and vines all sourced from the bush on our property. Each piece is handmade and uniquely one of a kind.
