Leaf – New Beginnings Giclee Print on Paper
Working with a 1000 year old Eucalyptus Tree that had fallen led me on a five year journey of learning and connection. Some of the leaves were used to create this series of work, that follows the lifecycle of Endings, Walking side by side, New Beginnings and Renewal. A lot of the wood went back into the community as sculpted native bee hives that honour the history, culture and stories embedded in the people, the country, and in its plants.
