My home is in the Glasshouse Mountains and my backyard goes up one of the smaller mountains. Around July/August small flocks of Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos land in our trees pulling off leaves and bark. I love the cry the Black Cockatoos make and when I hear it I run out to catch a glimpse of them. Of all the amazing birds I see here in the bush the Black Cockatoo is my favourite.
