As a glass lampwork artist, I find inspiration from my explorations of Australia. The vibrant colors of the rugged outback, the serene blues of the coastal waters, and the intricate details of the native flora and fauna fuel my creative spirit. With each delicate movement, as I shape the molten glass, I allow my mind to be transported into the essence of the rolling hills, the expansive skies, and intricate patterns found in nature, nothing else matters and for a brief moment in time the world is calm, at peace and I feel no-ones pain. Through my craft, I explore the enchanting realms of my home lands, of which I am both proud and ashamed, infusing my creations with the therapeutic energy that I personally experience during this artistic process. The mesmerizing and trans-formative qualities of glass lampwork not only allow me to express my creativity but also offer a profound sense of tranquility and connection to the inherent beauty of the Australian landscape.
